Checking Out for the Week

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEK HUMP DAY!

Vodka and Soda
I'm about to peace out of the real world for 5 whole days, but of course I had to get in a confessions post first, linking up with Kathy at Vodka and Soda, duh.

I confess...

:// I was completely embarrassed about my first "fashion" post for the Creative Closet link up yesterday -  until I got such sweet comments! It warms my heart to get those supportive comments and instead of dreading the next link up it makes me that much more excited to try again. Thanks ladies!

:// I really want to try the Quesarito‎ from Taco Bell. I still have had enough will power to resist so far, but if we pass a TB on vacation I'm going for it.

:// I've now resorted to "because I said so" in my relationship. Surprisingly it worked...

://I still am not sure about my new phone. This Galaxy S5 is at a whole different level than my iPhone #imissmyiphone

:// I am overly, ecstatically, ridiculously excited for our 4th of July trip. We leave tomorrow! Typically we go to McCall, ID just north of Boise for 4th of July. It's a great place to spend the holiday, but we do it every year. So this year James and I are trying something new and heading East to Montana!

We're meeting up with one of my best friends and her husband at their home in Missoula. Katie was my roommate before she got married and left me for Montana (I don't hold it against her or anything), and I can't wait to spend some time with her and Jo!

Then we will be driving up to Flathead Lake to spend the 4th. I plan to get my fill of beer and lake time!
Flathead Lake, Montana

And to top it all off were spending Saturday and Sunday at Glacier National Park!

Glacier National Park, Montana (crown jewel of the US!)

So basically I'm going to one of the most beautiful places in the country, and spending time with some of my favorite people. What better way to spend a long summer holiday weekend?

What are your plans for the 4th of July?

  1. I have been thinking of switching to the Galaxy when my upgrade comes up. I have an Iphone now. How do you like the big screen? I've never been to Montana - that park looks incredible! Take lots of pictures!

    1. Hi Jess! I really do like the big screen of my Galaxy and a lot of the features. It has everything I could need or want, it's just set up different than the iPhone so it's taking a long time for me to adjust. I'm hoping in a couple weeks I'll be loving it. And yes, I'll take LOTS of photos, because the new phone has a way better camera!
