Ugly Sweater Party 2015!
Well we did it friends. We hosted our 3rd annual ugly sweater party this weekend, and per usual, it was a huge success. Everyone was dressed for the occasion as you might have noticed above. Poor Ted...
I don't know that we had quite as many people this year as in years past, but the ones who did show made it a great time.
If you host an ugly sweater party, I highly recommend a "photo booth," or in our case, a wrapping paper backdrop, lights and plenty of Christmas-y props!
Also, having a IT-geek boyfriend comes in handy for setting up a photo booth. Usually we just have people take photos with their phones or cameras. This year however the BF set up my DSLR to not only take the photos with a remote, but show up on his computer screen live! It was like the real-deal photo booth!
Photos were then shared via Facebook.
The night also included my famous crack dip, queso, lots of beers too many shots, games and beer pong out in the garage. New this year was mood lighting - wifi controlled bulbs that go just about any color you can imagine!
And now the photo dump. Here are some of my favorites!
Apparently after a few beers I really like to stick my tongue out? I have no answers for you on that one.
How have you been celebrating the season?
PS - is it bad I want to wear my "ugly sweater" leggings all day everyday and out in public? #christmasleggingsforthewin
So fun! My friends and I usually have a sweater party but December got away from us this year

ReplyDeleteThe one where Gunner crashes the photo is probably my favorite!

ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome, looks like an amazing party with a lot of holiday cheer! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the coordinating leggings! I think I may go for those and a plain sweater for ugly sweater day at work, since I'm a loser!

ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fun night! Great idea using wrapping paper for the photobooth. Also A+ on your boyfriend setting up the DSLR and then having the photos rotate on the computer - definitely adds a fun touch.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! Love the photo booth idea with the wrapping paper as a back drop!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, it looks like you had so much fun! The pictures almost become a game of who has the remote :) Side note: I have that same snowman sweater for my pup!
ReplyDeleteI love love love that photo booth and all the amazing pictures! And the cat in a sweater hehehe. Awesome party!
ReplyDeleteIf I had those leggings I would wear them in public constantly. With my red rain boots. Also next year I am driving to Idaho for your party because this looks awesome! The photobooth is super impressive and I'm not sure what crack dip is but I basically love all dip and could probably live on it so I'm sure I'd love it.
