#HASHTAGHUMPDAY | Busy or Lazy?

Hey humpdayers!

I've been sparse around here and unfortunately I will continue to be until I can get my ass in gear and decide if and how I'm going to maintain this blog. Send some positive mojo my way so that this space doesn't slip away would you?  #positivevibes #savetheblog #getmemotivated

Before we get into it, let me remind you you have a plethora of link ups to confess your face off to every Wednesday. #Hashtaghumpday with my partner in crime Lauren and I of course, Alanna for confessions as well as Plucky in Love, and then Kathy and Nadine! So much humpity-hump-day love!

#Hashtaghumpday @ Life with Lolo

First a little business. Here’s the scoop:
  • Each Wednesday create a post about what’s going on in your life and #hashtag each item or story. See an example HERE. Be as creative as you want!
  • Grab the button and include it in your post
  •  Link up so we can all #creep on you and find out what’s new/funny/awesome /shitty in your life.
  • Comment on at least one other blogger’s post from the link up (someone you don’t already know!) if there even is anyone who links up…
  •  Share on all your social sites with #hashtaghumpday
  • Have fun! #hashtagtheshitoutofeverything #whocaresifitsarealhashtag

Kapeesh?

I confess, I'm a little burnt out on this space and I've used the new job as an excuse. I've lost all opportunity to blog at work and that was once where I did a majority of my blogging. Now that it's not the way to burn up time at a job I'm not happy with, it seems more like an obligation and I never EVER want it to be that #soineedtofigureitout

That doesn't mean that there hasn't been time to blog. There has. Maybe I'm just a lazy pile of... #youknowwhat

Mostly I feel super guilty about not reading and commenting like I used to do. I have made such outstanding friends through this space and through connecting and commenting and I have totally let that slip. Mostly I want to say to you all SORRY!!!

For those of you still sticking around while I figure my shiz out, thank you. I LOVE YOU!

And that is really all I have today. The confession that I'm a behind, a bit lost, lazy and missing the hell out of you all. Here's hoping I can turn it around!

Cheers until we meet again! Now go link up!

  1. I am in the same boat. Trying to figure out how to do something different with my blog because I am kind of bored and as you know it takes a lot of time. And it seems dumb to spend that much time on stuff you are not excited about. Ahhh... the struggle! I'm sticking around though, don't worry!

  4. Working is the worst thing for people who love to blog. Such a productivity killer when you want to make your space something awesome and have no time to do it. You can do it! Hope the new job is going well!

  6. That is totally normal, I do the majority of my blogging at work and honestly I hate getting on my laptop at home so it is rare when I can schedule posts. I feel like for people who aren't trying to make money off their blog it can get exhausting fast when you have a lot going on.

  7. It happens from time to time that you just need a lil break from blogging & there is no shame whatsoever with that. So, you do what you gotta do, girlie! :)

  8. I just experienced that same thing... still experiencing the same thing. New jobs completely turn our lives upsidedown (in the best of ways!) and suddenly all that time we previously had disappears. But then the time we do have is dedicated to, you know, life--even if that means Netflix binging because that's what it means to recuperate. Do what you gotta do, Laura, we're still here and so supportive of you and this new job!

  9. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US!

I've been pretty absent from the blog lately too - just no desire to do anything. Dang winter blues!

  10. I totally get it. I go through phases...right now I'm in a not-so-excited-about-blogging phase. I have some post ideas with drafts started and I think they'd be awesome posts...but I just don't have the motivation or inspiration to finish them...and I'm getting sick of talking about Friday favorites or my weekend or whatever. I need better content!

  15. I think everyone goes through some rough times blogging. There are just times you don't feel like doing that and I totally relate to that feeling! Give yourself permission to just do it as you want to...don't ever let it feel like an obligation!

  16. Oh man... I go through major cycles of blogger burnout. It's fun, yes... but it is TIME CONSUMING - and sometimes you just want to do other things instead. Nothing wrong with that though!
