 Hola amigas (and amigos?). 

Today I'm talking all about me, because I was so graciously nominated for the Liebster Award by Kimmi at Chaos and Cocoa, Nadia at The View is Beautiful and Kenzie (well I'm pretending she did because she said "you" at the end of her post...) at Chasing my Extraordinary.

I am so excited to be nominated for this award by these ladies - they are all fabulous, and I have admired their blogs for a long time! Plus, I feel like once you've had a Liebster, you are officially inducted into the blog world!

 Here are some of the details of the Liebster award, as beautifully described by Nadia:

 "The Liebster Award is generally given to bloggers with less than 200 followers to give them some much deserved recognition! When you are nominated you share 11 facts about yourself, answer 11 questions from the blogger who nominated you, then nominate 11 bloggers and give them 11 questions to answer."

I am going to go with Kimmi and Nadia's questions, because they both called out Life with Lolo directly - so I am doing double, thus a really long post. Hang in there friends!

1. What is your "go-to" show to cheer up a bad day? Big Bang Theory

2. Favorite Vacation spot? Cinque Terre, Italy was the most amazing place I have been to. Take me back!

3.Makeup product you cannot leave the house without? (either on your face or in your purse!) Chapstick! Preferably cake batter or candy cane flavor.

4. Best book you ever read? I can't pick just one... All HP, Hunger Games, the Host, Angels and Demons...

5. Chore that you hate the most? Cleaning the bathroom.

6. Coffee or Tea? Tea! Chai please!

7. What's the one thing you would buy first if you won the lotto or came into a huge sum of money? (after bills are paid and all that, just the thing you would buy just because!) A new car, the Silver Bullet (my Saturn) is fading fast.

8. Who is your idol? I know it's cheesy, but my Mom. She is the most talented, selfless, hard working person I know.

9. What blog inspires you to be better/work harder? All blogs? I love the Modern Tulip and Just a Trace - they are my "bigger" blog crushes.

10. Favorite adult beverage? BEER. I like flavored beers like Watermelon or now that fall is here, Pumpkin!!!

 From Nadia ~

1. Are you a texter or a caller? Texter

2. How long have you known your closest friend? 5 years almost to date.

3. What is one product that you recommend to everyone? Hmmmm - well I got all my friends hooked on Pinterest, is that a product? Oh or my Cuisinart Griddler!

4. Are you an online or in store shopper? Both. Gimme all the shopping!
5. What is your most worn item of clothing? A pair of Greek looking sandals (shoes are clothes right?)

6. What is your favourite holiday? Easter. I know I'm a weirdo - but it means spring is here and I love dying eggs, egg hunts and time with my family (oh and it's around my birthday)

7. What is one material possession you couldn't live without? My cell phone.

8. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment? Purchasing my own home, at 25.

9. Are you a hot or cold beverage person? Cold.

10. What colour do you think suits you best? My go to color is black. But I look good in blues/greens. 11. What has been your biggest learning since starting your blog? I didn't realize HOW MUCH goes into blogging. I used to think it was just writing your own thoughts. I only recently discovered it is networking, reading, commenting and finding others just like you. My horizons have expanded so much and I have met so many lovely ladies!!

I am supposed to include 11 things about myself.  I wanted to make this as random as possible...so please enjoy:
1. I hate thongs. I will only wear them if absolutely necessary.
2. My best friend hates and won't touch raw meat. I think of her every time I cook.
3. My biggest fear are jellyfish/fish. I got stung when I was younger and I cannot even fathom touching the scaley slimy fish scales, especially if they are alive and swimming! Eeeeek. 
4. I can't lift my right hand pinky - so if I were to do the "rock on" symbol it would look like I was giving you the loser "L."
5. I dyed my hair brown when I was in college, it looked good, but I don't feel like ME if I'm not a blonde.

6. I had rats as pets growing up. They actually make really good pets and are way better than gerbals or hamsters!
7. When I was a kid I got locked in a bathroom and the fire department had to axe the door down to get me out.
8. I like ambient noise. I hate silence. I always have to have a fan or humidifyer running at night for noise and when I was in school I liked to study in public spaces so that their was always noise/commotion. It just works better for my brain.
9. 9 is my favorite number. It was my jersey number several times. I was also known as "Niner."

10. Occasionally my birthday falls on Easter. It's only happened once in my life so far.
11. I was an architecture major before I switched to advertising. Sketching is about the only thing I miss from it! I need to do it more often...
