Hand Lettered Prints | Ashley Nevis Prints GIVEAWAY!

I have a special place in my heart for gorgeous hand-lettering. I think it stems back from the architecture class that we had to learn creative "hand print" for all of our drawings. The exercises for learning it were painstaking and I never really developed the beautiful handwriting they presented in the examples.

Though I deem myself "creative," seeing art in words has never been my strength. So of course, I'm instantly attracted to anyone who can do such things.

So when Ashley from Rainstorms and Love Notes started posting her hand lettered art on Instagram a while back, I was instantly hooked.

I was so excited when she turned her artistic ability into a business so we could all enjoy a piece of it in our own homes! Ashley recently launched Ashley Nevis Prints, where you can shop her designs and even order custom pieces.

When it came to picking out something I was beyond torn. I decided custom was the way to go, but even still, I couldn't pick just one quote I loved. I sent Ashley several ideas and she did drafts of a few so I could get an idea! She was such a joy to work with, so if you want something custom, definitely go for it!

We settled on this classic, originating from Annie the Musical - "You're never fully dressed without a smile."

I try to live everyday with this in mind. Smiling makes the world a better place!

I found this beautiful frame at Aaron Brothers and knew right away it was the one. I tested it out a few places around the house, and it's found it's home in my entry way between the kitchen and living room.

I highly recommend anything and everything from Ashly Nevis Prints. You won't be disappointed!

The lovely Ashley has offered to give one reader a FREE hand lettered print! You can choose from any of her non-custom designs. Enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win!

  7. I wish I could do this (even halfass do this!) because every time I try, it looks like a 5-year-old playing with mom's calligraphy inks..haha. Beautiful!
