I need to start out by saying, no, I am not engaged, and no, I'm not getting married anytime soon.
But yesterday I was browsing ThredUp and saw these shoes and I immediately thought, ooooh those could be my wedding shoes!
Crazy thought for an unengaged, mostly non-crazy girl right?
But the truth is us unmarried gals have those thoughts all the time and we do have our weddings "planned" in our brains, according to Pinterest. Which, we all know, is a fantasy land of make believe DIY projects and failed misguided attempts at them.
A girl can dream though right?
When I get married I will...
+ sport lushes lashes because I'm going to get lash extensions, duh
+ have magazine ready photos taken because the hubs and I will be that attractive
+ hold the most beautiful, textured, colorful, custom bouquet as I walk down the aisle
+ wear a pretty polka dotted viel
+ have an unforgettable "first look" that proves my man loves me

+ be able to thank and talk to everyone who attends
+ have the best day of my life
Like I said - dreams ok?

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty wedding you have here!!! It is crazy how Pinterest has everyone thinking about weddings, perfect showers, baby announcements and gender reveals. It gives so many great ideas, but also puts a lot of pressure on people these days to have everything so perfect!

I'm as single as it gets and hardly even know if I want to get married somedays, but for some reason I find myself pretty much knowing random details about my possible future wedding planned out. It's always the weirdest things too. I think your wedding sounds like it will one day in the future be very pretty :)

ReplyDeleteLol custom wedding dress is what I dream about and a unique engagement ring which the boyfriend has been clued in on already. :) Otherwise, I want it very low-key and non-traditional. I am not paying $x/head to feed others, I'm cheap. I prefer to put that money towards a gangster honeymoon or a home. :) Keep dreaming though, it's always wonderful to dream!
