Labor Day Friday Faves

Hello Friday!

Coming in a little bit late today because I took yesterday off, both from work and the blog world.

It was glorious and productive.

How can you not be pleased with a day that includes a workout, a ribbon bouquet, spray tan and your favorite tea, a nail polish party with your fellow bridesmaids and crockpot chili?

Magical.

Why would you take a day off in the middle of the week you may ask? Well because I had a spray tan appointment right in the middle of the day and I couldn't justify driving 25 miles back and forth (each way!) for it from work.  I should probably get a job closer to home...

Anyways let's get on with it!

1 | One of my favorites is getting married this weekend!!! I can't believe it's finally here. I have gotten to see this love story from the very beginning, 7 years ago! Abbie and Steven were made for each other and I am so excited to see them tie the knot and be a part of their big day. Plus it gives me an excuse to make a pretty ribbon bouquet!

2 | Crockpot chili for the win! Yesterday was the first day it felt like fall here. Overcast and breezy with highs in the 60s. It was lovely. What made it even better was my favorite fall classic, some homemade chili! Bonus? Whole30 approved! This was a super easy recipe and made TONS (I froze half) and I can't wait to make it again. 3 | Wonderful Webinars! I participated in Helene's Get Paid to Blog free webinar on Wednesday night and it was awesome. I don't plan to completely monetize the blog (don't worry about sponsored posts taking over) but I thought it wouldn't hurt to make a buck or two after all I put into this space. Her webinar was not only informative but motivating! Helene kept pushing how WE are worth it and WE can do anything (as bloggers!) Don't be afraid to reach out or aim high. It was just a great message. Plus, I bit the bullet and bought her Instagram for Success E-Course too! It just gives me the warm fuzzies to be working on, and for, this space. I want to make it the best it can be!

4 | Designing! I've been dabbling in some design for printed materials lately. My best friend asked me to help create a bachelorette invite and I also did a custom card for my bride for this weekend. I forgot how much I love creating things. My friend suggested I take this passion and make it a business. Such an amazing but scary thought! For now I'll keep enjoying a little here and there. Unless you want me to design something for you - in which case let me know!!!

Their love story began in Moscow, Idaho so I'm giving them a Moscow Mule kit as their gift!

5 | Long weekending! Can I get an Amen? It's Labor Day weekend and I couldn't be more ready for it. Although the wedding will take up half if it, I am so grateful to have Sunday AND Monday to recover and relax with my favorite people.

Flash back Friday for ya - these are my favorite people! (yes my dog is a person)

What are you excited for this 3 day weekend? How was your week?

Have a good one!
